Jeffrey Raich
LICSW, Therapist, Owner
Life is hard. That’s pretty clear. But it’s made all the more difficult for those who are autistic, carry trauma, or are within the LGBTQIA+ community. The difficulty is unique. Whether it’s having an invisible disability, not being able to trust others, or fighting for acceptance, the ability to navigate life can be challenging. There’s hope. And I can help. Together we will work through the stories you’ve been taught, the expectations you’ve had to meet, and the experiences that brought you further and further from yourself.
As a queer-allied, autistic male with over 20 years of experience and a master’s in social work, I am dedicated to helping adult men and women learn ways to cope with and manage negative thoughts, feelings, and emotions, as well as develop skills and tools to manage the daily difficulty of life. Through formal and informal education, I have developed experience and expertise in how the simple but not easy changes to our everyday life can help with stress, depression, anxiety, relationships, and trauma. By using various methods, including sensorimotor psychotherapy and depth psychology, we will develop solutions to find more meaning in life, desire to live, and acceptance of the past. I am dedicated to helping you achieve your goals and am committed to doing this in a way that is respectful and compassionate.
While I have worked in various settings over the years, I most enjoy working in my current one, as the owner of Restorative Psychotherapy, where I get to work one-on-one with each person to tailor specific goals and plans.
